Group Lessons

Our group lessons are fun, interactive and informative and are a great way for students to practice their skills  and socialize with players at the same level within a small group.

We offer various levels, from complete beginners to advanced players who play competitively. Each lesson consist of a learning segment, where the coach will teach something new, followed by practical application of what has been taught (exercises, practice games etc).

We generally offer 3 semesters during the year: Fall (Sept - Dec), Winter (Jan - Mar), Spring (April - June)

Groups:
Small groups. Students will be assigned to the groups according to their rating and skill level. Please be aware that space is limited and we operate on a first come, first serve basis.
If you're not sure which group will be the best for your child, no problem, we will help. During the registration process please provide us information about your child (like how many years of experience, if they play online, what their rating is etc). If necessary, we will schedule an assessment prior to joining a group.

Lessons & Method:
The lessons will take place via ZOOM + lichess online chess platform. Each participant will receive detailed instructions prior to the start of the lessons and full support from the coach during it.
We teach using our own method created by our Head Coach - Woman International Master Agnieszka Matras-Clement. Each lesson will consist of a learning segment, where the coach will teach something new, followed by practical application of what has been taught (exercises, practice games etc).

Additional activities:
In addition to the lessons, each student will be able to join our tournaments, where they will be able to practice what they've learnt and compete in a friendly environment.
